Hallmarked with a bear with a letter L used in Berlin, Germany to denote 80% silver purity in 19th century. The ladle also bears a date letter and a maker's mark. It also has a zig-zag line frequently used back then to test the silver purity. The bowl of the ladle is gilded. Condition is practically perfect, just tiny wear scratches and tarnish spots.
