Hallmarked with a bear with a letter L used in Berlin, Germany to denote 80% silver purity in 19th century. The ladle also bears a date letter and a maker's mark. It also has a zig-zag line frequently used back then to test the silver purity. The bowl of the ladle is gilded. Condition is practically perfect, just tiny wear scratches and tarnish spots. The ladle has a monogram. Length: ~14 1/4 inches, bowl: 4.5 x 2.5 inches, weight: 6.3 oz.
