The ladle has a nicely shaped spout and wonderful applied decorations. The bowl seems to be gilded. It is hallmarked with crescent moon, crown, and 800 used in Germany to denote 80% silver purity after 1884. It is also marked with Wilkens maker's mark, a well-known German maker. Length: ~13 inches, bowl: 4.5 x 3.0 inches and ~ 2.0 inches deep, weight: 7.9 oz. Condition is excellent, just minor wear tarnish and scratches.
