The spoons feature interesting family crests and shell decorations on the handle and on the back of the bowls. The spoons are hallmarked with Victoria's head, lion passant for sterling silver guarantee, leopard's head for London, UK, date letter q for year 1871, and GA for an important make George W. Adams operating in London in mid 19th century. Condition is almost perfect, just regular signs of usage like small scratches and minor tarnish spots. Length of each: 12 inches, width (bowl): 1 1/4 inches. Total weight of two spoons: 12.6 oz.
