A most unusual cigar case made from leather with a good, clean and bright patina, mounted with English sterling silver. The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1878, so a really early example of it's type. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, William Frederick Williams.
Of course what makes this special and unusual is the interior. Once removed, there is a bone aide memoir on one side, the original propelling pencil in it's own compartment and the other side has a visiting card holder (will take smaller cards).
The front has a great large circular silver mount for personalisation by your silversmith if desired. Excellent condition measuring 5 1/4" x 3" x 1 1/4".
