How wonderful to find a set of three graduated silver plated platters or salvers, beautifully engraved with a plethora of Ferns, very English and very Victorian.

Each of the three pieces stands on decorative feet and each fully marked by on the underside by the silversmith and an English registration diamond shaped lozenge allowing us to date the design exactly.

The trays were made by the well renowned silversmith, Thomas Bradbury of Sheffield. The design lozenge dates the set to 15th December 1870.

Excellent condition measuring 12 1/2" diameter x 1 1/4"; 10 1/2" diameter x 1 1/8"; 8 1/2" diameter x 1".
