It's been a long time since I have seen one of these pretty photograph frames crowned with a tall ribbon and box. This is where the little silver ring can be found on the back for wall hanging. As the wooden easel shows at the bottom, you may want to remove the stand if wishing to hand on the wall.
The oval frame has a continuous foliate garland decoration and retains the original convex (domed) glass. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 (late Edwardian in era) together with the makers mark for the highly regarded silversmith, Synyer and Beddoes. Excellent condition with an overall measurement of 9" tall x 4 1/2" wide with the glazed aperture measuring 5 1/2" x 3 3/8".
