A pretty Art Deco box made from English sterling silver standing on three cabriole legs.
The hinged lid is domed and beautifully decorated with a pretty Aqua / Blue guilloche enamel, without damage. The patina is bright and showcases the intricate engine-turned decoration below.
The hinged lid fits well and once opened reveals a gilded interior and the inside of the lid fitted with the original mirror (some marks to the mirror backing, mentioned for accuracy).
The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1926 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Albert Carter.
Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall.
