Pretty as a picture and most unusual. This late nineteenth / early twentieth century desk-top perpetual calendar is I suspect French in origin but clearly made for the English market.
Made from porcelain it is beautifully hand - painted with floral sprays. The front has a bronze gold metallic frame and retains all six of the original knobs used to forward and rewind the original linen rollers within.
Excellent condition (one small stress mark to one side, of no consequence but mentioned and shown for accuracy) dating to c.1900. 5" tall x 4" x 1 3/4".
