A stunning antique English spherical perfume bottle or scent globe, made from a heavy piece of crystal with very intricate hand-cutting in a variety of designs, creating a highly decorative bottle.
The pierced or retiucated sterling silver mounts drape over the shoulders of the bottle with a really pretty design. The hinged lid fits well and opens to reveal the cut crystal stopper intact to protect the precious contents from evaporating or spoiling.
The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1912, over 100 years old and a true antique example. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, William Hutton and Sons.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" in diameter x 4 1/2" tall.
