A wonderful and highly desirable English Victorian cigar or cheroot cart, a true late 19th century novelty with working wheels to pass around the table.
A candle would be lit and the cigars lit from the candle. There is also a lidded match compartment and the shell shaped ashtray has been gilded. The makers mark is to be found on the underside of the foot plate (W S & S A)
Dating to around 1890, it remains in excellent condition and measuring 10" x 5" x 5".
