An absolutely charming pen nib wipe dating to the Edwardian era, around 1900. A most unusual example, the layers of felt (where the nib of a pen would be tucked in for excess ink to be removed) are held together by a wonderful little gilded Chick with an amethyst coloured cabochon insert and two tiny glass eyes.
Excellent condition (some usage to the felt) measuring 3" in diameter x 1 1/4" tall, the Chick measuring 1" in length.
