A very stylish quality three piece tea service made from silver plate, fully marked for the Sheffield silversmith, Cooper Brothers.
The three pieces (tea set, sugar bowl and milk jug) are all engraved with an all over fern design. Surrounding a cartouche to both back and front. The reverse cartouche has a wedding presentation engraving dated to August 1911.
The top of the teapot is topped with a polished bone finial and the interior of the sugar and creamer are lavishly gilded.
Excellent condition. The teapot spans 11" handle to spout x 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" tall to top of finial. The sugar spans 9" handle to handle x 4" x 3 3/4" tall to top of handle. The creamer or milk jug spans 5 1/4" handle to spout x 3 1/8" x 4 1/2" tall to top of handle.
