Almost a true antique, coming in at 96 years old. A heavy piece of crystal was used to create this desk-top inkwell with a deep hobnail cut to the underside.
The collar and hinged lid is made from English sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1920 with a makers mark for Levi and Salaman. The domed lid is covered in the prettiest pink guilloche enamel, always the most sought-after colour of enamel and the hardest to find.
Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/4" square x 2 1/2" tall.
