A really scarce find is this highly decorative bread basket by the creme de la creme of London silversmiths, Garrard & Co. of London.
The shaped rim has a fine beaded trim and the sides beautifully reticulated or pierced.
The underside is signed Garrard & Co., and dates to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian.
About as stylish as they get in superb condition. The rim spans 12" x 6 3/4", standing 3" tall at ends.
