A tall slim vanity jar made from cut crystal and topped with the most decorative lid made from silver gilt (gold over silver) and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1924. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, Henry Matthews.
The top of the lid is decorated with a border of black enamel with silver decoration surrounding a glorious yellow guilloche enamel showcasing the intricate engine turning below.
Excellent condition measuring 6 1/4" in length with a lid diameter measuring 1 1/4" and a base diameter measuring 1".
