A stunning set of three graduated silver plated salvers dating to around 1860 by the well renowned silversmith, Martin Hall & Co. Martin Hall & Co. was one of the best known British manufacturers and participated in many international exhibitions including the Crystal Palace Great Exhibition of 1851.

Each sits on it's original three bun feet and the shaped borders are beautifully pierced or reticulated and the tray beautifully engraved. The centre is engraved with a heraldic family crest, I believe Scottish in origin for the Donaldson family with the motto below "My Hope Is Constant In Thee".

All in excellent condition measuring 12 1/2", 10 1/2" and 8 1/4" in diameter.
