A wonderful Victorian three piece coffee set dating to around 1880, beautifully engraved with, all pieces engraved with a very regal armorial crest.
The three pieces sit on a stunning tray standing on four pierced or reticulated legs; the tray has a different makers mark (J & G Bowen) to the the three pieces (A S), they clearly all belong together with the tray having a matching Armorial Crest to the centre.
The coffee pot has the most wonderful and romantic finial to the hinged lid with a sitting Cherub or Putti figure resting on a basket.
Excellent condition. The tray measures 16 1/2" x 13 1/2"; the coffee pot spans 8 1/2" handle to spout and stands 9" tall; the sugar bowl spans 6 1/2" handle to handle x 4" tall; the creamer spans 4 5/8" handle to spout x 4 1/2" tall.
