A very handsome hip flask with a detachable drinking cup. The glass flask has facets cut right around and is topped with a solid or sterling silver lid with a bayonet fitting requiring a twist and lift to open. The interior is lined with a cork filling, to help the precious contents from evaporating.
The silver cup slides off and it fits nice and snugly to the glass. There are British silver hallmarks on both the cup and lid for Birmingham 1909 together with the makers mark W.R.
A lovely Edwardian example in excellent condition and a good size to pop into the pocket or bag. 4 1/2" x 2 1/4".
