A wonderfully decorative late Victorian tea caddy, made from a good gauge of English Sterling Silver with all-over repousse and hand-chased decoration. The front has a large vacant cartouche.
Both the caddy and lid are hallmarked, the full hallmark for London 1900, the foot has an engraved signature for the retailer where the caddy was sold in London, "Martin & Co. 137 Oxford St. W".
An elegant caddy in excellent condition, standing 5 3/4" tall. 168.6 Grams / 5.42 Troy Ounces.
