A wonderful and most unusual toast rack made from English Silver Plate or EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) dating to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian.
Standing on four decorative hoof-type feet, there is a large floral shaped dish below, perfect for butter to simply to catch crumbs.
The integral handle towers 11 1/2" tall topped with a ribbon and bow motif. The diameter of the dish measures 6".
This wonderful piece would look equally at home on a desk as a letter holder. Excellent condition.
