A charming example of a sterling silver baby rattle complete with working whistle and an iridescent Mother of Pearl teething ring.
The rattle has four bells and everything in great condition, these make the most wonderful heirloom gifts for the new little one in the family. This one is hallmarked for Birmingham 1887, making this a true Victorian example. The back of the whistle is where the makers initials can be found, GU, for the highly collectible silversmith, George Unite.
4" in length including Nacre ring.
