A really attractive hand blown ice bucket dating to around the 1920's having been mounted with a silver plated collar and swing handle.
The black and white colouring of the glass gives it a sophisticated feel, perfect for cocktail hour!
The inside still retains the removable plated little drain for the water to pass through when the ice begins to melt.
The underside of the bucket reveals a ground glass pontil mark, where the glass blower would have broken off the finished article then polished smooth for a finer finish.
Excellent condition (with one tiny pinhead sized inclusion on the interior - see photo - insignificant but mentioned for accuracy). Measures 5 1/4" tall (excluding handle) with a rim diameter of 4 7/8".
