We are happy ot offer this sought after Brilliant & Noble Lakeland Terrier Dog by Beswick of England. This true and accurate Beswick model of a Lakeland Terrier Dog, it is model No. 2448, it is a first quality piece with no chips, cracks or crazing. Designed by Albert Hallam and produced from 1973 to 1998 when it was discontinued. This lovely tan and black terrier has a wonderful high gloss finish, this breed originated in the Lake district of England and thus the name Lakeland Terrier. Measuring 4" in length and 3-1/4" tall, the base is stamped as photographed. I noticed what appeared to be a blemish on the terrier's right hind quarter, (see photo number 6) however when looking closely under jewelers loop it is just the way he was hand painted, no damage, smooth and glossy, however I wanted to mention it and make you aware, we have also adjusted the price accordingly although it is a maker's blemish and is not easily noticed. This is a unique and nice find, it is rare to find pieces depicting the Lakeland Terrier as they are not as well known as many of the other Terrier breeds. Enjoy!
