This piece has 16 points that end in thick lobes, very popular during the Hollywood Regency time of the Mid Century Modern movement. Art Verrier translates to a piece is Studio Art Glass. The Studio Art movement started in 1962 in America when a method was discovered to make molten glass available to artists working in private studios and quickly spread to European countries. No two pieces are alike.Measuring 9-1/2" in length, 4-1/2" deep and 4" tall, this would look great with fresh cut flowers laying lengthwise within the shell.
