The center opal measures 10.6mm X 5.2mm and weighs an estimated .94 carats, it is surrounded by twelve (12) natural round opal cabochons measuring approximately 2.4mm each, for a total of .78ctw in the surrounding halo of opals. The opals are all securely prong set in place, they all have amazing color and were expertly matched by an extremely talented and thoughtful jeweler. The gemstones are perfectly offset with the amazing rich pink tone of the rose gold deep in 14K rose gold basket setting that will sit high above your finger and allow the natural light to make the colors of the opals really pop. Circa early 1900's the prongs are numerous and claw shaped, a classic design from that era. The face of the ring measures 15.8mm North to South, 10.5mm East to West and sits 8.5mm high on the finger.
