I found this at a Chicago Suburb estate sale, unfortunately it was being held by a professional company and no family members were present to find the history of this incredible ginger jar. This porcelain jar is similar to Limoges or Belleek pieces however it does not have any maker's mark. It is signed by the artist Rosemary Magesky and dated December 1974. The painting is incredible. The pink rose looks real enough to touch their silky pedals. There is no damage, cracks, chips, etc and it was treasured and kept in a china cabinet by the original owner. Measuring 8" tall, 5" wide and 16" around the widest circumference. I can only say this is an absolutely gorgeous piece and sure to be treasured by you for years to come, this is a piece that will be handed down for generations.
