Charcoal drawing on paper laid on thin board, 28" by 38", unframed, signed at lower right "McBride". I don't know who the artist might be but he or she was talented and possibly familiar with the San Francisco School/California School, Northern California School of art---artists like David Park, Nathan Oliveira, Elmer Bischoff and Manuel Neri. The haunting face especially reminds me of some of these esteemed artists' works. Condition is generally good with a few minor abrasions and light corner creases, none of which affect the power of the image. Frame this and you'll have a handsome contemporary work of art.
