Here's a good-sized drawing in felt marker, on a thin, slightly browned 35 1/2" by 24" sheet of paper, inscribed at lower right "MICKEY"/WALT DISNEY STUDIO/BILL SOUTHWOOD/1944-1968". I found information on the artist on the net: an animator, he worked with Disney, Format, Snowball and Hanna-Barbera between 1945 and 1969; Southwood died on June 28, 2003 at age 82. He was a Disney artist during those years indicated in the inscription. Condition: This is at present poorly protected under a plastic sheet with edging that is constantly falling off. The drawing is on a thin type paper which has oxidized over time, and acquired a ripple pattern throughout, but that ripple pattern is more obvious in the photos than in real life. That shouldn't detract from this image if you're looking for Disneyana or a Mickey Mouse drawing by a Disney Studio artist. ALLOW FOR REFLECTIONS IN GLASS through which photos were taken; darker looking left half is also a result of reflections and not uneven paper darkening. This could possibly be shipped in a tube for safety and cost considerations. SEE HUNDREDS OF OTHER WORKS NOW IN MY RUBY LANE SHOP.
