Original lithograph print, 1979, featuring, as the AskArt listing so aptly describes, "joyful scenes that depict the plague of childhood in a childlike way...". The artist was born in La Paz, Bolivia, and was in Europe while very young, receiving art instruction. She trained in printmaking under Johnny Friedlaender. By the mid 1960's she had already received recognition for her work, and in 1979 the UNICEF organization utilized her imagery in a poster. Boulanger's art has demonstrated worldwide appeal. This print is in a metal frame and under (scratched) Plexiglas which you may wish to replace. Measurements inside the mat 24 1/2" by 18 1/8" and 30 3/4" by 24" as framed. The print itself is in excellent clean condition.
