A **PAIR** of oil on canvas laid on board paintings of New Orleans scenes, each 16" by 7" (and 19" by 10" identically framed), each signed "Mansfield". The works are very likely by listed artist GEORGE DRUMMOND MANSFIELD (who sometimes signed "Drummond"). The works are often in vertical format like these, and sold in pairs. One of the present works features the famous St. Louis cathedral with Andrew Jackson statue, the other the famous Brulatour Courtyard (I think). The works date to probably about the 1960's or 1970's. New Orleans scenes are popular with the many visitors to the city, who want something in their homes to remind them of good times spent there.
