Oil or acrylic on canvas painting, measuring 30" square, unframed/unsigned, the subject a young woman, painted in the style of famous twentieth century artist Patrick Nagel (1945-1984). This is offered as a decorative "style of" work. The only information on the frame is the word "Mexico" (as in, origin of the frame I would imagine) and the number 30, the dimension. The painting is wrapped around the stretcher so that the edges are all therefore painted. The surface could be described as dull, matte, not glossy, no varnish. A very decorative piece for your mid-century or modern interior. Nagel's original authenticated works have exceeded $50,000 at auctions. His paintings and prints featuring glamorous, attractive young women with heavy makeup have virtually become pop culture symbols of the period.
