Ideal for a child's room or nursery, this is a naive painting of numerous children and a few adults in an idealized spring landscape with blossoming trees, signed at lower left by artist Wanda Webb, who dated it "Paris 71". The work, 22" by 26 1/4" as framed, is painted in a meticulous manner with drippy looking paint, and pointillist type raised dots serving as leaves and blossoms. There is some of Grandma Moses in the figures. An online search has turned up no information on this artist, who evidently was inspired by 20th century French naive painting. Condition is excellent.
