A framed PAIR of identically framed color prints, each 11 1/2" by 15 1/4" as framed, the subjects of both the famous bookstalls by the Seine in Paris, Notre Dame cathedral in the distance. Each is pencil numbered at lower left out of editions of 5000, and signed at lower right in pencil, by the noted French 20th century impressionist painter CHARLES BLONDIN (1913-1991). Blondin was active in Paris in the post war years, painting and creating very popular editions of prints which he numbered and hand signed. These prints are generally clean, with normal age toning of the paper. See a number of other Blondin prints of Paris scenes in the shop.
