Old watercolor of what might be described as a Mediterranean garden or courtyard, " by ", the frame " by ", apparently unsigned. The work is executed on paper I believe to be 19th century in age. The word "Fischetti" is written on reverse of it, along with some other illegible writing that does not seem to have anything to do with title, location or artist name. The artist was skilled with watercolor and created an impressive little work of art. Found in California; I imagine this could be of California origin but will lean towards European now. The watercolor will be shipped between boards, separate from the frame (no glass). It will need to be re-framed with a true mat and with acid free materials.
