Color poster of the now well known Guggenheim Museum structure in Bilbao, Spain, hand signed and dedicated by famous American architect FRANK GEHRY (1929-) at lower right and dated there '98. The Santa Monica, California-based Gehry of course needs little introduction, seeing as that he is among the world's best known contemporary architects, with a long list of famous structures by his hand, distributed around the world. This gleaming shiny metallic structure is credited for bringing the grimy old port of Bilbao into the tourist and visitor trail. Gehry signed the poster with a fine marker to a Mickey (illegible). Condition is excellent, with fresh colors in the poster. Interestingly, the frame choice was for a shiny burnished metallic look, which no doubt alludes to the famous skin of the new building itself. An interesting bit of memorabilia for the architecture fan. Measurements 21" by 28 1/2" as framed.
