This is a contemporary painting, in the style of the Hudson River School or Dutch 17th century painters, the subject a wooded peaceful landscape complete with excellent handling of light and shadow, feathery trees, tiny wildflowers and grasses, a shallow stream, and a mysterious, beckoning path at right that disappears into the forest. Measuring 23 1/2" by 36" (30" by 42 1/2" in old style framing), this is a handsome, decorative piece in perfect condition. I suspect the artist name is a pseudonym used by talented anonymous Asian artists who hand paint similar paintings for the western market. If you would like a fine looking work but do not wish to spend what it would cost to purchase a 19th century or earlier antique painting, or deal with its flaws, this clean, wall-ready art will fill that large empty space.
