PAIR of watercolor paintings of colorful flowers, including iris, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, and asters, one of the drawings dated "7.07.07" at lower left, unsigned, each measuring 20" by 13" inside the mat, 28 3/4" by 23 1/2" in the modern day gold frames. The quality of the drawings is excellent. Most certainly these floral studies are by an accomplished hand. They have survived a century in excellent condition. An excellent alternative to prints, if you're looking to add some botanical images to your interior. These were displayed in a fine Beverly Hills home. **NOTE: the watercolors will need to be re-mounted, as the old circa mid-century adhesives have dried out by now and the drawings are loose/slipping around inside.** Shipping each separately might actually be more economical, as UPS charges would likely be determined in this case by volume of the parcel.
