Large watercolor painting of a peaceful lane or street, buildings suggesting Hispanic origin mixing with the lush vegetation, 21" by 30" (31" by 39" nicely framed, with museum glass, yet), signed at lower right "H. Brzezinski". At first glance I considered the possibility that the scene might be Santa Fe, New Mexico, since "Calle de las Animas", sounding Santa Fe-ish, is written in ink on the framer's label, and the scene had a somewhat Santa Fe look and so forth, but having googled the street name and studied the online images, I am now leaning towards this being a street in Granada, Spain. The street by that name in Antigua, Guatemala generally does not look like this. Online search for the artist has not produced any information. The owner spent some money on framing and glass, so evidently was very fond of the art. Condition is excellent. The painting with glass is very heavy; a local buyer would be welcomed.
