Folio of six loose black and white plates in gray paper-covered boards with a pictorial title label, cloth spine and ties, the portfolio measurements 24" by 18", the work titled on the label the "A. B. Frost Portfolio", published circa 1906 by P.F. Collier & Son, the art by the famed late nineteenth and early twentieth century American illustrator and sporting and hunting artist, ARTHUR BURDETT FROST (1851-1928). Frost became known as the illustrator of "Uncle Remus", by Joel Chandler Harris. He went on to a long career in illustration, with golf, fishing and hunting among his most common subject matter. Original drawings sell at auction to nearly six figures. The condition of this volume is reasonably good. I am offering this item on behalf of a Philadelphia-area relative.
