Oil or acrylic on canvasboard abstract painting, larger size at 29" by 41" as framed, signed at lower right "KAYE". I'm reminded of some of the works of Kandinsky or perhaps several of the Russian early 20th century avant-garde and Constructivism artists, such as Ivan Kliun, Mikhail Larionov, Kazimir Malevich, Alexandra Exter, and El Lissitsky. The creator of this work (and two others by the same artist I have listed) was probably a talented amateur with an excellent sense of color and a knowledge of modern art. Condition is good. A more interesting, eye-catching frame would enhance the presentation. This work should look great in your modern or mid century interior.
