This bowl dates to the mid 19th century and would normally be described as "Pennsylvania redware", though this sort of pottery was made in a number of locations in the northeastern states and even into the Midwest. Diameter is 10 1/4" diameter, and height 4 1/2". There is a thick, drippy lead glaze that doesn't quite cover everything. There are no edge chips though there is overall authentic aging, cracks that don't penetrate all the way through, loss of glazing at inside bottom of bowl, and pitting, all as shown in images. I am not a specialist in this sort of item and hope I have described it accurately.
