Engraving or etching on paper, 10" by 7 3/4" (20" by 17" in excellent condition modern gold frame), the subject dainty wildflowers, their botanical names at bottom. Below that is the name of the publishers, Day and Haghe. I would guess that this would date to the late eighteenth or early 19th century. Condition is good save for light overall oxidation and mat edge browning, as well as a small disturbed area in the paper at lower left margin. You could re-mat and easily hide this but in so doing you would sacrifice the fine ornate mat. The frame is in excellent condition. .
