Offered together, here are THREE of the familiar Alaska scenes by famed Alaskan artist SYDNEY LAURENCE (1865-1940), originally offered through Griffin's in Juneau. Each measures 9" by 7" inside the original mats (and 19 1/2" by 15 3/4" as framed). Titles are "Yukon Store", "Trapper's Cache" and "Alaska Totem". The prints are in good condition, but the mat of "Yukon Store" is soiled (not moisture, just handling soiling). A new overmat would hide most of that. This series was evidently offered to the tourist trade in Juneau at mid century, and they have scattered far and wide. Laurence's paintings sell at auction for many thousands of dollars, so those fond of his work might well consider owning some of these attractive prints. I have two silvery frames available with the prints. The glass is non glare variety that should be discarded. See other Alaskan works in my shop.
