This is a color offset print, measuring 28" by 21 3/8" and thin modern frame, inscribed at lower left in pencil by the artist ("For Katrina with appreciation"), numbered 145/250, and signed at lower right "Judy Chicago 1996". At lower right in small print is "Judy Chicago 1974 Periwinkle Products Beverly Hills, California". I think that the artist actually created the image in 1974 but decided in 1996 to make it into a limited edition print. The artist is well known of course as a major figure in the feminist art movement. The text of the print deals with her feelings as a woman, and the images she creates are interpreted as female genitalia. Condition: Roughly the bottom third has been exposed to moisture at some time in the past. It is somewhat compromised, including ripples, but staining is not obvious. Ask for more details. Colors might be possibly sun-exposed; not sure. .
