Royal Vienna two part urn (the upper urn form and the foot), attached w/ a hand-cut (hence very early) copper bolt w/ hand threaded screw. The scene depicted is of children involved in various activities. The Royal Vienna shield or 'beehive' mark is almost completely concealed by the copper washer ring above the screw/within the base, but can be seen if loosening the bolt. The mark is blue overglaze, and this piece dates to ca. 1820. The translation for 'Kueche' is 'Kitchen'. This urn form vase is 7" high and 3-1/2" in diameter; detail and painting is ornate and charming. Vase is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, paint a/o gold wear, restoration a/o any other mar's.
