Dating to ca. 1840, the engraved surface measures approximately 6 ¼ inches tall by 8 ¼ inches wide. It is beautifully framed and matted under glass with an overall dimension of 11 by 13 inches. The etching is in excellent condition as is the matt. The outer wood frame has some small dings that do not detract and is ready for hanging. The back of the print guarantees its age and states was part of the archive of the House of David in Benton Harbor, MI. This stunning and detailed engraving is a wonderful addition to your home.
