Offered for your consideration is a lovely Antique butter pat dish. This wonderful butter pat is by WH Grindley Staffordshire Tunstall England. It was originally part of a complete dinner service and is marked with the English registry mark dating this dish to January 7, 1882. The square ironstone butter pat has rounded corners and is decorated in a brown transferprint titled Daffodil. The transferware scene has a large daffodil on the left side and a scenic landscape with castle and sailboat from the center to the right. The butter pat has no chips or cracks and shows some staining spots due to the age. It measures 2 ½ inches square. This beautiful transferware butt pat is a fabulous addition to your butter pat or Antique transferware collection.
