Offered for your consideration is a beautiful solid bronze horse statue or figurine. The bronze was designed and signed by artist Suzann Fiedler and is a presentation trophy for the American Quarter Horse Association given as a prize for the winning quarter horse. It was found in the remnants of an old foundry in Chicago IL and was never mounted on a base. The bronze statue is highly detailed and lifelike. It has darkened to a wonderful patina and is in excellent condition. It can be considered new old stock since it was never used or mounted on a base. It measures 10 ½ inches across and 9 ½ inches tall. The base is 2 ½ inches wide. It is marked with the artist signature on one side and a date that I believe is 1984 and American Quarter Horse Assoc. on the other side. There are screws on the bottom to allow for mounting on a marble or wooden base. This gorgeous artist signed bronze horse is a fabulous addition to anyone’s home and collection.
