This lovely vintage Christmas plate is from a series of Christmas plates issued by Wedgwood England. The series of plates continued for 20 years, ending in 1988. The plates featured landmarks from London and environs. This plate highlights Saint Paul's Cathedral and dates from 1972. The decoration includes a holly border and is done in high relief. The plate is in very good condition and measures 8 inches in diameter. It measures just under 10 inches across including the frame. It comes with the wooden plate frame ready for display. The frame is in good condition with areas of paint loss on the gold inner rim. The plate is marked on the back, Wedgwood Made in England. This is a fabulous vintage Christmas plate for your collection or a great start to a new collection. I have available plates from many years so please ask if you are looking for another issue. I would be happy to combine shipping.
