This lovely vintage Christmas plate is from a series of Christmas plates issued by Wedgwood England. The series of plates continued for 20 years, ending in 1988. The plates featured landmarks from London and environs. This plate highlights The Houses of Parliament and dates from 1974. The decoration includes a holly border and is done in high relief. The plate is in excellent condition and measures 8 inches in diameter. It measures just under 10 inches across including the frame. It comes with the wooden plate frame ready for display. The frame has a few scrapes here and a very tight hairline crack at the bottom that is very stable and does not affect the display. The plate is marked on the back, Wedgwood Made in England. This is a fabulous vintage Christmas plate for your collection or a great start to a new collection. I have available plates from many years so please ask if you are looking for another issue. I would be happy to combine shipping.
